Can't find what you like?
Custom Orders
You can absolutely order a three letter name – if you choose not to add extra shapes, the additional spaces in the box will be empty.
Please note that Toddler shapes don’t fit in the name box.
You sure can! If you particularly like one of our fabulous shapes, just add a note to the order.

Long boxes can fit names up to 6 letters (7 letters at a squeeze). If the name is between 7 and 9 letters (or you want to add more shapes), we will present it to you in a rectangular box.
So you can see what the boxes look like, the Name Crayons product page includes photos of both box types.
If you want to choose specific colours, please just add a note to the order. If you don’t choose colours, we will choose a mix of colours depending on which palette (bright or pastel) you select.
Other crayons come in the colours as photographed – for example, the Toddler Train is green.
If you want to choose specific colours, we can make the crayons to order – just be aware that the crayons will take longer to ship.
We can make almost any colour you want – contact us to discuss. Please note that custom colours have a longer lead time.
The crayon sets come as photographed, however we’re really happy to work with you to find the perfect mix of Tinta shapes.

Ingredients and Product Info
We use 100% Australian beeswax in our crayons.
We support local businesses (like ours!) by sourcing the beeswax from independent suppliers in the Yarra Valley.
Our crayons are natural and sustainable – we do not use paraffin (as it’s a by-product of petroleum), soy or palm oil waxes to make our crayons.
The other organic waxes we use are selected for the qualities they bring to our crayons, without compromising the safety of using natural products.
We don’t put any fillers in our crayons – so there is no talc, asbestos or any other nasties lurking in the box!
All of our ingredients are sustainably sourced and we make every crayon by hand.
We use non-toxic, food-grade pigments to colour our crayons. We mix the colours ourselves – this allows us to make any colour we can imagine!
Our colours do not contain: dyes, additives, preservatives or heavy metals (that’s why they wash off walls!)
We certainly don’t recommend Tinta Crayons as part of a balanced diet, but if they are ingested – they will just pass through the body.
Our food-grade pigments may make for interesting doggie doo colours (but we make no promises!)
Our crayons do not contain any of the usual suspects (wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, nuts or fish).
Please be aware that we haven’t completed any official allergy testing on our crayons.
No! The reason we don’t use waxes made from either soy or palm oil is because they are not sustainably farmed and have a destructive impact on our environment.
Our crayons are tested by the Australian National Measurement Institute and comply with AS/NZS ISO 8124.3-2012 (the Australian and New Zealand Safety of Toys standard).

Orders and Shipping
We generally ship with either Sendle or Australia Post.
Yes! Orders with a Parcel Locker or Parcel Collect address will be shipped with Australia Post.
Parcels sent via Sendle are generally given authority to leave in a safe place. If there is no safe space to leave the parcel, they will be re-delivered to a nearby hub location.
Parcels sent via Australia Post are generally re-delivered to a nearby Post Office or LPO.
Signature on delivery is available for a small additional fee – please contact us if you would like to add this to your order.
Most orders placed by 2:30pm Melbourne time are shipped next business day, however if we need to make specific crayons for the order – we will ship within three business days.
We rely on our delivery partners to get your crayons to you as quickly as possible!
We use Australia Post for Express Post orders within Australia for a small additional cost.

We will send an update via email when tracking information becomes available.
We use Stripe to process all credit card transactions on our website – for your security, we have no access to full credit card details.
If you choose to save your credit card details, these are securely stored by Stripe.
For Australian orders, prices include GST. For orders outside Australia, no GST applies.
We ship to most of the world, however we are currently unable to ship to the United States and Canada.

Returns and Exchanges
We follow Australian Consumer Law and will gladly offer returns or exchanges where the product is damaged or not as described.

We take every precaution to have your crayons arrive exactly as you expect them to – if for any reason the crayons arrive damaged, please contact us!
Please contact us to cancel an order before it is shipped. Once we have shipped your order, it cannot be cancelled.
We’re very happy to accommodate changes to an order before it is shipped! If you’re adding additional items, we’ll advise any additional charges. If you’re removing items, any refund will be processed back to the original form of payment.
Yes! While it’s very rare for us to be out of stock as we make all our crayons by hand – if something is out of stock, you can place an order and we will advise the expected delivery time.
